Definition
The Information Technology (IT) Commission is a commission that focuses and is responsible for the IT field of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Jember such as publications, company profile websites, networks and computer based tests (CBT).
Division Media
The media division is a division that is responsible for collecting, processing and publishing information through media media owned by the Faculty of Medicine, University of Jember.
- Conducting studies, planning, developing, managing and maintaining information and communication technology and its application at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Jember;
Providing information and socialization of information and communication technology to all users;
Providing technical assistance services to all users in terms of the application and use of information and communication technology;
Collecting, processing, presenting and collecting data and information and providing services for the management and implementation of educational, research and community service programs at Faculty of Medicine, University of Jember.
- Develop basic policies for the development and operationalization of Information and Communication Technology at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Jember;
- Develop a master plan for the development and operationalization of Information Technology within the scope of the Faculty of Medicine;
- Develop programs, network systems and database systems that are able to accommodate all administrative and learning functions, research and community service in stages;
- Develop hardware, network and software standards used in administrative activities, management and teaching and learning processes at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Jember;
- Regulate the provision of hardware and network facilities for each element of management, administration, teaching staff and students in accordance with established authorities and functions;
- Provide or facilitate the availability of office administration programs and legally (licensed) learning for each component in accordance with the established authorities and functions;
- Providing and or developing office administration information system programs, learning / education, research and community service in accordance with the needs and policies of the faculty in stages;
- Manage the implementation of the Assessment process (CBT-based examinations) at both the local faculty and national levels;
- Collect, process, present and store data and information;
- Carry out socialization and training programs in the form of Training of Trainers (TOT) and training end users of the system;
- Manage the maintenance of programs, devices and networks;
- Develop and implement a system of assistance services for the operationalization of information and communication systems for all users (help desk services);
- Manage and develop the website of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Jember so that it can be accessed by all users and the general public.
