The geographical and demographic conditions of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Jember, which grows and develops in the areas of agriculture, plantations, agro-industry, and animal husbandry, are opportunities that must be utilized to be able to get the Faculty of Medicine UNEJ to have a focus on research and service in the agromedical field. Based on the results of the BPS Jember Regency survey, 51.47% of the total area of Jember regency is agricultural area, and the community dominates it for livelihood, especially farming. Farmers as one of the most jobs in Indonesia can experience various health problems both directly related to their work and the health of their families. Health problems that often occur are malnutrition, pesticide chemical poisoning, helminthiasis, food poisoning, ergonomic disorders, metabolic syndrome disorders due to changes in lifestyle, infectious and non-infectious diseases in respiratory tract, congenital abnormalities and occupational diseases.
