TRANSPORTATION ROUTES

To reach the Faculty of Medicine, University of Jember (FK UNEJ), several transportation route options are available to choose from. For those who rely on public transportation, you can either take a city transportation (angkot) with directions to FK UNEJ or utilize the campus bus service, which is often available at various points in the city.

In addition, for individuals using private vehicles or online motorbike taxis, this campus can be accessed via several main roads that connect to the center of Jember city. This easily accessible transportation route facilitates the smooth arrival of students, lecturers, and visitors to FK UNEJ, allowing them to participate in various academic and non-academic activities on campus.

Plane

Jember is easily accessible from different cities and countries. It is served by Notohadinegoro Airport, an airport that connects with many other major cities in Indonesia and other countries via Surabaya. There are around 2 flights a day from Surabaya to Jember (Garuda Indonesia and Wings Air). As mentioned before, there are lots of options to get to Surabaya. From Jakarta
There are more than 52 flights a day that serves the CGK (Soekarno-Hatta International Airport) – Surabaya route. Almost all Indonesian carriers serve this route. However, please make sure that you depart from CGK/Soekarno-Hatta International Airport so that you don’t have to change airports when arriving from an international flight.

Train

Taxi

From Notohadinegoro Airpot
By using taxi, It will take apprroximately 30 minutes and you will be charged rates at IDR 50,000. – IDR. 75,000,-

From Jember Train Station
You can find taxi in the main gate of the train station. The venue can be reached from the station in 15 minutes. You will be charged the minimum rates at IDR 30,000.

From Tawang Alun Bus Station
Taxi can be found around the bus station. Since this bus station is quite far from the venue, it will take approximately 25 minutes to get in to the venue. You will be charged rates at IDR 50,000. – IDR. 75,000,-

Ojek Online

There are two kind of ojek in Jember, Conventional Ojek and Online Ojek (Gojek).

Conventional Ojek
You can find them around the main gate of airport, train, or bus station. The ojek fare will be vary, you should ask and bid the fare first.

Online Ojek (Gojek)

From Notohadinegoro Airport
It will take approximately 25 minutes to get in to the venue. You will be charged at IDR 16,000
From Jember Train Station
It will take approximately 15 minutes to get in to the venue. You will be charged at IDR 7,000
From Tawang Alun Bus Station
