Agromedicine – The Faculty of Medicine, University of Jember held a workshop to improve the quality of the learning process through equalization of perceptions and assistance in filling out the Semester Learning Plan (RPS) on the new feature of the Academic Information System (SIAKAD). This workshop aims to provide a better understanding of the new features of SIAKAD as well as increase understanding of RPS which is an important part of the learning process.
Taking place at Valonia Hotel, the workshop was attended by lecturers of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Jember, workshop participants were given an explanation of the new features of SIAKAD and the procedures for filling out the RPS. In addition, participants were also given an explanation of the importance of RPS in the learning process and student assessment guided directly by the facilitator; Ir. Khoirul Anam, ST., MT., Ph.D.
In this workshop, the participants were given the opportunity to practice filling out the RPS on the new SIAKAD feature accompanied directly by the facilitator. In addition, participants were also given an explanation of things that need to be considered in filling out the RPS, such as learning objectives, competencies to be achieved, and learning methods used.
According to the Deputy Dean I of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Jember, this workshop is an effort to continue to improve the quality of the learning process at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Jember. “In the digital era like now, we need to continue to adapt to existing technology to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the learning process. This workshop is one way to ensure that all lecturers and administrative staff as well as students of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Jember can optimize the use of new SIAKAD features,” said Deputy Dean I.
A workshop is also a place for discussion and brainstorming between lecturers at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Jember in improving the quality of the learning process. The participants were also given the opportunity to provide input and suggestions related to the use of the new SIAKAD feature and improving the quality of the learning process at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Jember.
With this workshop, it is hoped that all lecturers of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Jember can optimize the use of the new SIAKAD feature and improve the quality of the learning process. In addition, it is also hoped that this workshop can be an example for other faculties to improve the quality of the learning process through the use of technology.
