USE OF THE MEDLINK SYSTEM FOR LECTURERS AND EDUCATIONAL PERSONNEL

To improve the effectiveness, transparency, and integration of academic and administrative service systems at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Jember, we hereby inform all Lecturers and Laboratory Assistants (PLP) that:

  • All requests related to academic, financial, and general matters must be submitted through the Medlink system. This includes requests for equipment use for practical activities by students, which must be submitted via Medlink. All Lecturers and PLPs are required to monitor and follow up on these requests through the Medlink system.
  • Reports on activities and achievements in academic, research, and community service must be uploaded using the designated menu in Medlink.
  • Lecturers and PLPs are required to regularly participate in completing laboratory service satisfaction surveys and Medlink user satisfaction surveys through the Medlink system as part of the evaluation and improvement of service quality.
  • All complaints and feedback regarding academic services, financial matters, or other facilities can be submitted through Medcomplaint.

MANDATORY PROVISIONS FOR STUDENTS

To improve discipline, order, and optimize the information system and services within the Faculty of Medicine, University of Jember, we hereby inform all students that:

  • Students are required to wear nametags or identification badges while on the premises of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Jember.
  • Students must follow the official social media accounts of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Jember as a source of official information.
  • All requests related to academic, financial, and general matters must be submitted through the Medlink system.
  • Students are required to upload reports on their activities and achievements, including those organized by student activity units (UKM) and independent activities, via the designated menu in Medlink.
  • Students must regularly participate in the laboratory service satisfaction survey and Medlink user satisfaction survey through the Medlink system as a form of evaluation and improvement of service quality.
  • All complaints and feedback related to academic, financial, and other facilities must be submitted through Medcomplaint.

STRENGTHENING STUDENT AND STUDY ORGANIZATION ACTIVITIES TO IMPROVE THE COMPETITIVENESS OF THE FACULTY OF MEDICINE, UNIVERSITY OF JEMBER

To encourage the strengthening of the role of students and student organizations (Ormawa) at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Jember (FK UNEJ) and to increase their competitiveness while making a meaningful contribution to the institution, we hereby convey the following:

  • Each student organization within the Faculty of Medicine, UNEJ, is expected to develop activity plans that extend beyond the internal scope to national and international levels.
  • The planned activities should positively impact the reputation of the Faculty of Medicine, UNEJ, in academics, research, community service, and collaborative networks.
  • In developing programs, student organizations are encouraged to consider:
    a. Relevance to the vision and mission of FK UNEJ.
    b. Sustainability and benefits for students and the wider community.
    c. Potential for increased publications, networking, and recognition at national and international levels.
  • The Faculty will provide support in the form of facilitation, advocacy, and recommendations, according to its capacity, to ensure optimal student activities.

INCREASING RESEARCH AND COMMUNITY SERVICE BY LECTURERS TO PROMOTE AND STRENGTHEN THE REPUTATION OF THE FACULTY OF MEDICINE, UNIVERSITY OF JEMBER

To enhance the competitiveness, reputation, and contributions of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Jember (FK UNEJ) at the national and international levels, and to support the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, the following is conveyed:

  • Lecturers at FK UNEJ are encouraged to conduct research and community service activities that are not only oriented toward scientific publications but also capable of providing tangible benefits to society and the institution.
  • Research and community service activities are expected to:
    a. Serve as positive promotional tools for FK UNEJ through publications, collaborations, and exposure at various national and international forums.
    b. Produce innovations, solutions, or service models that provide direct benefits to the wider community.
    c. Strengthen collaborative networks with government agencies, private sectors, hospitals, Islamic boarding schools, schools, and other partners.
  • All research and community service activities are expected to be well documented and reported to the faculty for use in institutional publications and to strengthen accreditation.
  • Lecturers are encouraged to integrate research and community service activities with learning and involve students, thereby enhancing the academic experience and promoting the faculty.

FACULTY AREA ENTRY REGULATIONS

Within the Faculty of Medicine, Jember University, regulations apply to vehicles entering the campus. In accordance with safety policies, every guest entering the Faculty of Medicine, Jember University, is required to report their arrival to the security officer or parking attendant on duty at the entrance gate. Additionally, motorcyclists are expected to remove their helmets, while car drivers are asked to roll down their windows as a safety precaution. These measures ensure the identity and safety of everyone entering the campus and help maintain a safe and controlled environment. Furthermore, all motorized vehicles must present their Vehicle Registration Certificate (STNK) upon request by security officers for further verification.

These regulations are enforced to ensure the safety and comfort of all members and guests visiting the Faculty of Medicine, Jember University. With the cooperation and awareness of all parties, the campus environment can remain safe and secure, allowing academic and administrative activities to proceed smoothly. Guests are expected to comply with these regulations as a form of support for the university’s safety policies implemented for the common good.
