Definition
The clinical skills commission is a commission tasked with improving the ability of learners to perform clinical procedures related to health issues by applying the principles: Patient safety, the safety of oneself, the safety of others. Supported by pillars: information management, scientific foundation of medical science, clinical skills and management of health problems.
- Facilitating teaching and learning activities and improving abilities in the field of basic clinical skills;
- Facilitating the borrowing of tools needed in teaching and learning activities in the field of basic clinical skills;
- Facilitate various internal and external training of basic clinical skills areas;
- Manage a standard patient bank.
Able to carry out clinical procedures related to health problems by applying the principles of patient safety, personal safety, and the safety of others.
- Perform and interpret the results of auto-, allo- and hetero-anamnesis, general and special physical examinations according to the patient’s problem;
- Conduct and interpret basic supporting examinations and propose other rational supporting examinations.
- Conducting education and counseling;
- Carry out health promotion;
- Carrying out preventive medical measures;
- Performing curative medical measures;
- Carrying out rehabilitative medical measures;
- Carry out protective procedures against things that may endanger yourself and others;
- Perform medical actions in clinical emergencies by applying the principles of patient safety;
- Perform medical procedures with a medicolegal approach to health problems/injuries related to the law.
