Agromedicine – The Faculty of Medicine, University of Jember (FK UNEJ), has once again recorded a remarkable achievement at the national level. In the National Competency Examination for Medical Profession Students (UKNPDPD) Batch 1 for the February 2026 period, all participants from FK UNEJ achieved a 100 percent pass rate, with 43 junior doctors declared competent.

This accomplishment serves as clear evidence of FK UNEJ’s consistency in maintaining the quality of its medical professional education, as well as the success of its structured and sustainable academic mentoring system.

The achievement is even more noteworthy considering that this year’s UKNPDPD implementation was marked by several challenges, particularly related to information dynamics and changes in the examination schedule. The rescheduling occurred due to changes in the national organizing committee of the Indonesian Medical Competency Examination, requiring both students and academic teams to make adjustments within a relatively short timeframe.

Despite these dynamic conditions, the learning spirit and preparedness of FK UNEJ’s medical profession students remained strong. Intensive support from academic supervisors, the UKMPPD/UKNPDPD mentoring team, and solid coordination among faculty units played a crucial role in ensuring that all participants achieved the best possible results.

“The 100 percent pass rate is the result of students’ hard work, continuous guidance from faculty members, and the institution’s commitment to maintaining the quality of FK UNEJ medical graduates. The challenge of schedule changes became a momentum to demonstrate our students’ adaptability and resilience,” said the FK UNEJ leadership.

This achievement further confirms that FK UNEJ graduates possess strong competencies, adaptability, and readiness to enter the healthcare sector professionally. In addition to being a source of pride for the faculty, this accomplishment is expected to strengthen public trust in the quality of medical education at the University of Jember.

FK UNEJ remains committed to sustaining and enhancing this achievement through learning innovations, strengthening mentoring systems, and continuous evaluation in the medical professional education process.

Congratulations to the 43 junior doctors of FK UNEJ on this outstanding accomplishment. May this milestone serve as a strong foundation for their dedication and contributions to public health, the nation, and humanity.
