Agromedicine – The Faculty of Medicine, University of Jember (FK UNEJ), once again conducted its second nurturing activity through an online discussion in collaboration with the Indonesian Accreditation Agency for Higher Education in Health (IAAHEH) on Tuesday, January 6, 2026. The activity took place at the FK UNEJ Accreditation Room as part of the faculty’s ongoing efforts to prepare for the accreditation process.

The online discussion was led directly by an IAAHEH mentor, who provided guidance and substantive reinforcement related to accreditation standards and instruments for higher education in the health sector. This nurturing session served as a continuation of the previous mentoring activities aimed at ensuring FK UNEJ’s readiness to meet all accreditation assessment indicators.

The discussion was attended offline by the leadership of FK UNEJ, along with the FK UNEJ accreditation task force team. The presence of the faculty leadership reflected the institution’s strong commitment to supporting quality improvement and strengthening educational governance within FK UNEJ.

During the session, the IAAHEH mentor delivered various strategic inputs, particularly concerning document fulfillment, data alignment, and a deeper understanding of the accreditation self-evaluation instruments. In addition, the discussion addressed several challenges encountered in the preparation process, as well as the necessary corrective steps to be undertaken.

Through this second nurturing activity, FK UNEJ expects to further strengthen its institutional readiness for the accreditation process conducted by IAAHEH. This activity also represents FK UNEJ’s ongoing commitment to maintaining and continuously improving the quality of medical education.
