Agromedicine – Being in the series of Dies Natalis of the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Jember which was held on Friday, June 28, 2023, the inauguration of the Building Name was inaugurated directly by the Rector of the University of Jember Dr. Ir. Iwan Taruna, M.Eng., IPM. accompanied by the Chairman of the Senate of Jember University, Vice Rectors I, II and III, and Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of Universitas Jember. The names of the newly inaugurated buildings include; The Dean’s Building became the Avicena Building, the Biomedicine Building became the Hippocratic Building, the Clinical Skills Building became the Galenus Building and the Student Center Building became the Cordis Building.
In his speech, the Rector of the University of Jember hoped that with the inauguration of the names of these buildings, it would be easier for us to find rooms in the teaching and learning process and the communication process can be established clearly, and also for rooms to be more organized and comfortable and most importantly able to accommodate all student activities of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Jember which every year increases rapidly in demand.
Until now, the Faculty of Medicine, University of Jember is an icon and favorite faculty at Jember University. Dr. Ulfa Elfiah as Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Universitas Jember expressed her joy at the inauguration of the names of buildings in the Faculty of Medicine. So it looks clearer so that it makes it easier for all FK UNEJ Civitas to carry out their duties.
Hopefully in the future with the name in each building, the facilities owned will be well maintained because it will make it easier to detect what facilities and facilities are in the building so that the teaching and learning process will run comfortably and smoothly. Being in the series of the 23rd Anniversary of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Jember, the inauguration of the Building Name was marked by the beating of gongs and the launch of fireworks as well as the video display of the building with the new name which was inaugurated at the Faculty of Medicine, Jember University.
