Agromedicine – The Faculty of Medicine, University of Jember (FK UNEJ), held a declaration and signing ceremony for the Integrity Zone on Friday, December 27, 2024. The ceremony was solemnly conducted in the Auditorium of the Avicenna Building at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Jember, and attended by faculty leaders, stakeholders, teaching staff, and administrative staff. Representatives from Jember Clinic Hospital and Jember Customs and Excise were also invited.
The event began with the singing of the national anthem, Indonesia Raya, and the Jember University Hymn by all participants, fostering a spirit of nationalism and togetherness among the FK UNEJ academic community. Next, the Dean of FK UNEJ, Dr. dr. Ulfa Elfiah, delivered remarks emphasizing the importance of this declaration in the journey towards excellence accreditation.
In her remarks, Dr. Ulfa emphasized that the Integrity Zone declaration is a strategic step toward achieving the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets set by the University of Jember. “This Integrity Zone is the foundation for creating a professional, transparent, and accountable work environment at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Jember (FK UNEJ),” she said.
The event culminated in the signing of a joint commitment charter by the entire academic community. This signing was symbolically carried out by faculty leaders, followed by lecturers, educational staff, and student representatives, witnessed by the invited guests. The charter symbolizes FK UNEJ’s dedication to realizing an Integrity Zone in the workplace.
Stakeholder representatives in attendance, including those from Jember Clinic Hospital and Jember Customs and Excise, expressed their appreciation for FK UNEJ’s efforts in building an integrity-based work culture. They assessed that this commitment would improve the quality of service and overall institutional governance.
This declaration also aligns with FK UNEJ’s vision to continuously innovate and become a leading medical education institution at the national and international levels. In this context, the Integrity Zone is part of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Jember’s efforts to create effective and efficient faculty governance.
After the charter signing, the event concluded with a prayer and a group photo of all participants. This moment symbolized unity and renewed enthusiasm for the Faculty of Medicine, University of Jember (FK UNEJ) as it strives to move forward with a strong commitment to integrity and professionalism.
