Agromedicine – The Faculty of Medicine, Jember University, hosted a mentoring session for completing the Integrity Zone (ZI) Evaluation Worksheet (LKE) provided by the University of Jember ZI Team. The event took place on Friday, December 27, 2024, in the FK UNEJ Auditorium and was attended by faculty leaders, the FK UNEJ ZI task force, and the University of Jember ZI LKE administrators.
The mentoring session featured Handika Dwi Wantoro, S.T., as the main speaker. In his presentation, Handika provided an in-depth explanation of the ZI LKE application procedure, which serves as a crucial evaluation tool for Integrity Zone implementation. “Proper and comprehensive completion of the form will form the basis for assessing the effectiveness of ZI implementation within the faculty,” he said.
The material presented covered six key areas within the Integrity Zone (ZI) LKE: change management, governance arrangements, improvements in the human resource management system, strengthening accountability, strengthening oversight, and improving the quality of public services. Each area was explained in detail, including assessment indicators and technical steps for completing data according to standards.
The event also included an interactive discussion session between the speakers and participants. Participants, consisting of faculty leaders and the Faculty of Medicine (FK) UNEJ task force, asked various questions related to technical challenges in completing the application and shared experiences implementing the ZI within the faculty. The discussion yielded practical solutions and recommendations that can be immediately implemented.
The Dean of FK UNEJ, Dr. dr. Ulfa Elfiah, expressed her appreciation for the assistance provided by the University of Jember’s ZI Team. “This activity has been very helpful in understanding the technical details of completing the ZI LKE, which ultimately supports our efforts to create more transparent, accountable, and high-quality faculty governance,” she said.
This assistance also serves as important momentum for FK UNEJ to continue improving its readiness toward the full implementation of the Integrity Zone. The faculty affirmed its commitment to aligning its measures with university policies to achieve established performance targets.
The event concluded with the handover of the ZI Team’s ZI (Financial Performance Index) guideline document to the Faculty of Medicine, University of Jember (FK UNEJ) task force. This handover symbolized the strong collaboration between the university and the faculty in building a work culture based on integrity and professionalism.
With this assistance, FK UNEJ is expected to promptly complete the ZI (Financial Performance Index) successfully and meet established evaluation standards. This is a strategic step for the faculty in realizing superior and integrity-based governance.
