The laboratory is one of the very important parts in an educational institution, especially the medical faculty, the existence of the laboratory is not only functioned as a teaching and learning activity but is equipped with various instruments, equipment and chemicals (reagents) to carry out experimental work, research activities and examination procedures.Having a standardized laboratory is mandatory for the institution, the Faculty of Medicine, University of Jember currently has 10 laboratories that have been equipped with various sophisticated, standardized equipment and supported by educational laboratory institutions that have been certified Good Clinical Laboratory Practice, this is in order to meet all the needs of students and lecturers.
