Agromedicine – The Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Jember (FK UNEJ), officially inaugurated the boards of student organizations and student activity units (UKM) for the January–December 2026 period. This inauguration marked an important moment in strengthening leadership regeneration among students within the FK UNEJ academic community.
The inauguration ceremony was held on Wednesday, January 22, 2026, at the Avicenna Auditorium of FK UNEJ. The event took place in a solemn and orderly manner and was attended by the FK UNEJ academic community, including faculty leaders, lecturers, administrative staff, and student representatives.
The activity aimed to provide formal legality and official endorsement to the elected chairpersons and board members so that they may carry out their organizational duties and responsibilities throughout the upcoming term. In addition, the inauguration served as a means of reinforcing students’ commitment to managing organizations professionally and with integrity.
The ceremony began with an opening session and a prayer, followed by the reading of the Decree on the appointment of the boards of student organizations and student activity units of FK UNEJ for the 2026 period. The auditorium was filled with enthusiasm as the newly appointed board members demonstrated their readiness to carry out their mandates.
The highlight of the event was the recitation of the oath of office, led directly by the Chairperson of the Student Executive Board (BEM) of FK UNEJ, Fahreza. The oath was subsequently followed by the elected chairpersons of the student activity units within FK UNEJ.
The oath-taking symbolized the readiness and commitment of the board members to manage their organizations responsibly, uphold academic values, and maintain the good reputation of the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Jember.
In a solemn atmosphere, the newly inaugurated board members expressed their commitment to actively contribute to the development of students’ interests, talents, and creativity through various innovative and beneficial programs.
This inauguration is also expected to strengthen synergy between student organizations, student activity units, and the faculty in supporting the vision and mission of FK UNEJ, both in academic and non-academic fields.
With the inauguration of the student organization and UKM boards for the January–December 2026 period, FK UNEJ hopes that the new leaders will become positive agents of change, capable of steering their organizations toward continuous improvement and making meaningful contributions to the advancement of the faculty.
The inauguration ceremony concluded with a joint prayer and a documentation session, marking the beginning of a new leadership period that is expected to run smoothly, with dedication, and to bring achievements to the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Jember.
