Agromedicine — Another proud achievement has been attained by the academic community of the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Jember (FK UNEJ). One of its distinguished lecturers, dr. Ancah Caesarina Novi, Ph.D., FISPH., FISCM., secured Third Runner-Up in the 2025 Universitas Jember Outstanding Lecturer Award.

The award was officially announced and presented during the Peak Night of Universitas Jember’s 61st Anniversary celebration, held on Friday evening, November 29, 2025, at the Universitas Jember Auditorium. This prestigious event marked a special occasion in commemorating the university’s anniversary.

The Universitas Jember Outstanding Lecturer Award is a form of recognition for lecturers who demonstrate exceptional dedication and contributions in education, research, community service, and innovation. The selection process involves several rigorous evaluation stages, including academic portfolios, scientific publications, and presentations before a panel of judges.

dr. Ancah Caesarina Novi, who is well known for her active involvement in biomedical research and the development of basic medical sciences, expressed her gratitude upon receiving the award. “This achievement is the result of support from many parties, especially my colleagues at FK UNEJ and the students who continuously inspire me throughout the academic process,” she said after receiving the award.

As both a lecturer and researcher, dr. Ancah has contributed extensively to scientific publications and has served as a speaker in various academic forums. Her involvement in cross-institutional research collaborations was also recognized as a positive aspect by the judging panel.

The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Jember, Dr. dr. Ulfa Elfiah, M.Kes., Sp.BP-RE., Subsp. L.B.L.(K), who was also present at the event, extended her congratulations and appreciation. “This achievement is not only a source of pride for FK UNEJ but also serves as motivation for other lecturers, especially younger faculty members, to continue innovating and excelling,” she stated.

The anniversary peak event was further enlivened by student performances, a showcase of the university’s achievements, and the presentation of various awards to outstanding lecturers, administrative staff, and students across multiple fields.

With this achievement, FK UNEJ once again reaffirms its commitment to fostering high-performing lecturers as part of its efforts to advance the quality of medical education at both national and international levels.
