Agromedicine – Faculty of Medicine, University of Jember participated in the flag ceremony commemorating the 118th National Awakening Day organized by University of Jember. The event was held solemnly at the Rectorate Courtyard of the University of Jember and was attended by all work units within the university.
The National Awakening Day ceremony served as an important moment to reignite the spirit of unity, nationalism, and commitment among the academic community in contributing to the nation through education. All participants attended the ceremony in official attire and took part in the event orderly and enthusiastically.
During the ceremony, university leaders, lecturers, administrative staff, and student representatives from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Jember joined other work units across the university. FK UNEJ’s participation reflected its support for the values of national awakening and institutional collaboration within the university environment.
The ceremony was led by the university leadership acting as the ceremony inspector, who delivered a speech emphasizing the importance of maintaining the spirit of struggle and unity amid the challenges of modern times. The values of national awakening are expected to motivate the entire academic community to continue innovating and contributing to society.
In addition to being held onsite at the rectorate courtyard, the ceremony was also attended virtually by the Jubung Vocational Campus, Bondowoso Campus, Lumajang Campus, and Pasuruan Campus. The participation of these regional campuses demonstrated the spirit of togetherness and synergy within the University of Jember as an integrated higher education institution.
This year’s National Awakening Day commemoration carried the spirit of moving forward in facing global challenges through education, research, and community service. The occasion also served as a reminder of the importance of maintaining unity and mutual cooperation in national and social life.
As one of the faculties within the University of Jember, FK UNEJ continues to support institutional activities aimed at strengthening national character and fostering patriotism. The ceremony proceeded in an orderly and solemn atmosphere from beginning to end. All participants took part in the raising of the Indonesian flag, the recitation of Pancasila, the 1945 Constitution, and a collective prayer as a tribute to the nation’s heroes.
