Agromedicine – The National Scientific Analysis and Development Agency – The Indonesian Medical Student Senate Association (BAPIN-ISMKI) has honored the Student Research Center Revolution of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Jember (SRCR FK UNEJ) as the Best National Scientific Institution for the 2022 period during the 2023 Indonesian Medical Student Summit (IMSS), held on February 22-26, 2023, at Syiah Kuala University, Banda Aceh.
As a Student Activity Unit (UKM) engaged in research and journalism at the Faculty of Medicine UNEJ, SRCR has a strong connection to innovation and achievements. Following the successful support of over 30 student accomplishments in 2022 and receiving the national award for the most innovative work program in August 2022, SRCR, under the leadership of Kak Naufal, has now been recognized as the best national scientific institution for the 2022 period. This is indeed a source of pride, especially considering that SRCR, established on September 14, 2007, has only received such an award now.
M. Naufal Hibatulloh, the chairman of SRCR 2022, expressed his gratitude, saying, “Thank you to all administrators and members of SRCR 2022, as well as to Dr. Sheilla Rachmania M. Biotek as the coach. Hopefully, the climate of the scientific and journalistic world will continue to develop and be beneficial at FK UNEJ. Thanks also to BAPIN-ISMKI for providing a platform for SRCR to engage in the national scientific community. We still have much to learn from other scientific institutions throughout Indonesia.”
Kak Naufal hopes that the scientific and journalistic environment will continue to grow and be useful at FK UNEJ, and that SRCR can continue to learn from other scientific institutions.
Alfila Faa’is Artama, the chairman of SRCR 2023, added, “We would like to express our gratitude to all administrators and members of SRCR 2022 who have dedicated themselves to advancing the realms of research, science, and journalism. In our year (2023), we hope that SRCR will remain a haven for young researchers thirsty for knowledge. It should not only be a place for growth and development but also a place to contribute to the nation’s progress. Aligned with BAPIN-ISMKI’s vision and mission, we will persist in optimizing and enhancing our human resources and reaching new heights.”
In line with Kak Naufal’s sentiments, Kak Alfila hopes that SRCR can continue to grow and be a valuable asset for the nation’s progress.
Apart from recognizing SRCR as the best national scientific institution, BAPIN-ISMKI also acknowledged other scientific institutions as the best in their respective regions. This includes the Forum for Scientific and Academic Studies of the Faculty of Medicine, Sriwijaya University (FKIA FK UNSRI) as the best scientific institution in region 1, the Institute for Assessment and Research of the Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia (LPP BEM IKM FK UI) as the best scientific institution in region 2, Medical Research & Science Club, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, University of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (MARS, KM, FKIK, UMY) as the best scientific organization in region 3, and Herodicus Medical Scientific Writers of Undiksha (Hermestha FK Undiksha) as the best scientific institution in region 4.
