Agromedicine – Held at the Auditorium of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Jember, prominent founding figures of the Faculty of Medicine gathered for a series of events, including a guest lecture, the awarding of Adjunct Professor Decrees, the appointment of the Agromedicine Advisory Board, and the launch of the latest website of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Jember. The event, which was broadcast live on the official YouTube channel TV Tani Sehat, was attended by faculty leaders, lecturers, and student representatives.
Also present at the event was the Rector of the University of Jember, Dr. Ir. Iwan Taruna, M.Eng., IPM., who officially opened the program and delivered remarks. In his speech, the Rector emphasized that the guest lecture serves as a platform to broaden perspectives, foster collaboration, and strengthen collective efforts to achieve the goals of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Jember.
In his welcoming remarks, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Jember, dr. Supangat, M.Kes., Ph.D., Sp.BA., highlighted that the Agromedicine campus can now be recognized from afar. He stated that to grow and gain recognition, institutions must transcend space and time by leveraging rapidly advancing technology. On this occasion, FK UNEJ demonstrated its commitment to realizing its vision by launching a new website equipped with a virtual tour feature of the Agromedicine campus. It is hoped that this new platform will contribute to achieving global recognition for Agromedicine in Southeast Asia.
The guest lecture and awarding ceremony were presented in a well-structured and engaging program. In addition to the introduction of the new website by the Head of IT of the Faculty of Medicine, dr. Azham Purwandhono, M.Si., Sp.N., the event featured the awarding of Adjunct Professor Decrees to founding pioneers of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Jember, namely Prof. Dr. dr. Satyanegara, Sp.BS(K) and Prof. dr. Bambang Suhariyanto, Sp.KK(K). Meanwhile, the Agromedicine Advisory Board Decree was awarded to Mr. Sigit Hendrawan Samsu. The decrees were presented directly by the Rector of the University of Jember, accompanied by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine.
