Agromedicine – The Faculty of Medicine, University of Jember (FK UNEJ), organized a remarkable international webinar as part of its 23rd anniversary celebration. The event aimed to discuss current issues in the field of agromedicine, with a focus on recent developments in the era of Society 5.0. The webinar featured speakers from various countries, including Indonesia, Malaysia, Japan, and Thailand.

This international webinar reflects FK UNEJ’s commitment to providing a high-quality scientific discussion platform that remains relevant to ongoing social changes. Under the theme “Society 5.0: New Challenges and Opportunities in Agromedicine,” distinguished speakers from the four countries shared their knowledge, experiences, and insights on the increasingly important field of agromedicine in the digital era. The webinar was expected to deepen participants’ understanding of the Society 5.0 concept, as well as the challenges and opportunities faced in agromedicine. Through strong international collaboration among Indonesia, Malaysia, Japan, and Thailand, it is hoped that innovative and sustainable solutions can be developed to address global challenges in the agromedicine sector.

On this occasion, the Dean of FK UNEJ, dr. Ulfa Elfiah, expressed her appreciation for the presence of the speakers and participants. She hoped that the discussions and collaborations would serve as an initial step toward embracing Society 5.0 in addressing future challenges in agromedicine.
