Agromedicine – The Faculty of Medicine, University of Jember (FK UNEJ) held an engaging studium general as part of its 23rd anniversary celebration. The event featured Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Wolfgang Nellen, a renowned molecular biologist from Germany, who delivered in-depth insights on gene surgery to students and medical professionals.

The studium general aimed to introduce participants to the concepts and latest advancements in gene surgery. Prof. Nellen explained various methods and the potential applications of gene surgery in treating genetic diseases as well as in the development of living organisms.

His presence at FK UNEJ received a highly positive response from both students and medical staff. Participants showed great enthusiasm in learning more about gene surgery techniques, which are rapidly evolving and hold revolutionary potential in the fields of biotechnology and genetics.
