The Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Jember (FK UNEJ), has taken a bold step in advancing medical science in Indonesia by organizing a seminar titled “Stem Cell: Prospects of Regenerative Medicine in Indonesia.” This event was held as an effort to explore recent advancements in the use of stem cells in the field of regenerative medicine in Indonesia. One of the highlights of the seminar was the presence of several leading experts in the field, invited by FK UNEJ to share their knowledge and experience during the two-day event.

A key feature of the seminar was the participation of renowned stem cell experts who have extensive experience in both research and clinical applications of stem cells in Indonesia. By inviting these distinguished speakers, FK UNEJ aimed to provide participants with in-depth insights into the latest developments in stem cell applications for regenerative medicine.

The seminar participants came from diverse backgrounds, including medical students, physicians, researchers, and other healthcare practitioners. The event served as an excellent platform for expanding their understanding of the potential of stem cell therapy in addressing various health challenges faced by the Indonesian population.

Throughout the seminar, the invited experts delivered comprehensive presentations on various aspects of stem cell applications in regenerative medicine. Topics included the use of stem cells in treating degenerative diseases, tissue and organ repair, and their potential in addressing medical conditions that are difficult to treat using conventional methods. In addition to scientific advancements, the seminar also highlighted ethical and legal issues related to the use of stem cells in Indonesia.

In addition to expert presentations, the event featured interactive discussion and Q&A sessions between participants and speakers. These sessions provided valuable opportunities for participants to exchange ideas, ask questions, and gain clarification on various aspects of stem cell applications in medical practice.

This seminar not only provided new knowledge but also inspired participants to engage more deeply in research and development in the field of stem cells. By understanding the vast potential of stem cells in regenerative medicine, participants are expected to become agents of change who contribute to the advancement of medical science in Indonesia.
