Agromedicine – The Quality Assurance Unit (GPM) of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Jember (FK UNEJ), conducted a Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) of the learning process for the Medical Professional Study Program for the Even Semester of the 2024/2025 Academic Year on Wednesday, November 19, 2025. The activity took place at the FK UNEJ Auditorium and was attended by the faculty leadership and all teaching staff involved in the professional program.

The Monev activity began with the presentation of evaluation results by the Coordinator of the Medical Professional Study Program, Dr. dr. Dina Helianti, M.Kes. In her presentation, she outlined various findings and learning achievements, ranging from the implementation of clinical practice, module alignment, to student feedback. These evaluation results serve as a foundation for formulating strategies to improve the learning process in the upcoming period.

The GPM of FK UNEJ emphasized that this monitoring and evaluation activity is a crucial component in maintaining the quality of medical professional education. Through this initiative, the faculty ensures that the learning process is effective, measurable, and aligned with established standards, both internally and externally.

On this occasion, the leadership of FK UNEJ expressed their appreciation to all lecturers and teaching staff for their dedication and hard work in delivering the professional education process. They also encouraged each unit and block coordinators to continuously enhance the quality of learning services, particularly in relation to the integration of clinical competencies and student professionalism.

This monitoring activity also reflects FK UNEJ’s strong commitment to building an Integrity Zone through the principles of transparency, accountability, and continuous evaluation. By openly presenting the evaluation results, FK UNEJ demonstrates its seriousness in developing a clean and quality-oriented education system.

The atmosphere of the event was communicative and constructive, marked by open discussions among lecturers, faculty leaders, and the GPM team. Various inputs and recommendations were shared to address challenges encountered during the implementation of the professional education program, including those related to facilities, clinical rotation management, and the optimization of competency assessments.

Through this activity, FK UNEJ aims to strengthen synergy among units in maintaining the quality of medical professional education. This evaluation effort also serves as an important foundation for preparing competent and ethical medical graduates who can meet the evolving demands of healthcare services.

With the implementation of this learning Monev, FK UNEJ reaffirms its commitment to continuous improvement in the future. The faculty is optimistic that this initiative will have a positive impact on the quality of the learning process, while also strengthening FK UNEJ’s position as a leading and trusted medical education institution.
